As the old saying goes, "You need to spend money to make money." Scheduling is no different and it all comes down to achieving maximum productivity with minimum wasted effort or expense. With the help of SkedX's budgeting tool you will have an idea of how far your dollar is taking you.
You need to make sure you inputted your employee's hourly wages beforehand. If you forgot to do this, or need to change their hourly wage, do so under "Manage Employee". Within the Manage Employee tab choose the employee you wish to adjust.
Once you have the correct pay rate added under each user, SkedX will automatically tally how much your schedule would cost each day and each day of the week
If you add estimated sales for each day of the week, SkedX will also calculate your ratio of staffing to estimated sales.

Note: These numbers are only a rough calculation and do not subtract for breaks or add costs such as taxes.
